The Dell™ EqualLogic™ PS4110 Series of virtualized 10GbE iSCSI SAN arrays are designed to bring enterprise-class features, intelligence, automation, and reliability to remote or branch office, departmental and small-to-medium business (SMB) storage deployments at an affordable price. With 15,000 RPM 3.5” SAS or SAS SED disk drives, the PS4110XV 3.5” array provides high transactional and sequential performance with up to 7.2TB* of storage capacity in a 2U form factor to enhance your enterprise data center. The PS4010 line features two 10GbE controllers with SFP+ and 10GBASE-T port options so you can leverage your existing infrastructure with 10GbE SFP+ or build out lower-cost 10GBASE-T.
To grow storage capacity and performance for remote office needs, up to two PS4110 Series arrays can be combined in a SAN group. To further scale out the SAN, EqualLogic PS6110 Series arrays can be added seamlessly without sacrificing the initial investment in PS4110 Series arrays.
All PS Series storage arrays include the EqualLogic Array Software at no additional cost. This advanced array software provides data protection, SAN management and SAN functions that automatically virtualize and optimize storage resources. The software features RAID configuration, enhanced load balancing, thin provisioning, Data Center Bridging (DCB), replication and more.
Offering built-in storage features previously available only to top-tier data centers, the PS4110XV 3.5” enables best-practice storage for remote, branch-office and departmental deployments. To improve enterprise-wide monitoring and analysis, the EqualLogic SAN Headquarters (SAN HQ) software tool provides centralized performance and event monitoring of multiple virtualized EqualLogic SAN groups distributed across different data centers and remote offices. Additionally Dell EqualLogic Host Integration Tools offer efficient data protection and simplified management and operation features for your EqualLogic SAN through tight integration with Microsoft®, VMware® and Linux® products. Using Host Integration Tools, you can reduce time spent on tedious storage management tasks while increasing the reliability and performance of your EqualLogic environment.
