Looking for a few good rants

Dell opened a site called "The Future of Storage". There's plenty of opinions there and occasionally the people contributing even agree with each other. (What is this world coming to?) Anyway, its a good place to leave a piece of your mind about iSCSI, FCoE, virtualization, replication and de-deplication.

Found some good information on their, best thing I found was a review. I did a little blog on it.. in what I call "Dell in 2nd and last Place :) Is that what happens when you OEM?".

Yeah, there are a couple problems with the Diogenes surveys - mostly that the sample sizes are too small for some of the vendors (including both EqualLogic and Compellent) And there are obvious errors - for instance, the percentage of people that buy from VARs - EqualLogic sold (and still sells) 100% through the channel, but the survey indicated a number in the 70th percentile.

I like that the surveys are not sponsored and I give them a lot of credit for doing this work because they DON'T get paid by vendors to come up with their results.
